KegelPro Review by Patricia Lee
Ladies, we all know we should be doing Kegel exercises. Of all the exercises we can do, Kegels are probably the easiest. What is not so easy is targeting the pubococcygeus muscle, commonly referred to as the PC muscle. Kegels are not effective unless done correctly. Well, I just tried the KegelPro and working the right muscle was a snap!
Why Should You Do Kegel Exercises
- Kegel Exercises can help women achieve more intense orgasms.
- Regular Kegel exercise can increase sexual pleasure for females and their partners by tightening the vaginal muscles.
- Mild urinary incontinence, such as that which occurs while coughing, laughing, or sneezing and occurs more often as women grow older, can be treated with Kegel exercises.
- Pregnancy can weaken the PC muscle making Kegel exercises an important part of getting your body back into shape after childbirth.
About the KegelPro
I received my KegelPro yesterday so was anxious to give it a try. From opening the box to completion of the exercises only took about 5 minutes. You simply give it a wash, apply a little lube, insert it, and begin exercising. Instructions are provided for this process.
The Kegel exercises are performed by tightening the muscles around the KegelPro. You know when you are doing them correctly because you will feel the arms of the KegelPro move. I was happy to have validation that I was targeting the right spot.
According to the instructions, beginners should begin with 1 to 2 minutes of Kegel exercises, building up to 3 to 4 minutes per session. They recommend exercising every other day for maximum effectiveness.
Finding the PC Muscle and Effective Kegel Exercises
The pubococcygeal muscles are those used to stop the flow of urine during urination, and they may be easily identified in this way. However, after the muscle has been identified, practicing Kegel exercises during urination is not recommended, as this could lead to a urinary tract infection.
For effective exercise, I would recommend contracting the muscles at varying intervals during each exercise session. Start by squeezing for 2 seconds then releasing and building up from there.
Likes and Dislikes of the KegelPro
Likes - It's quick, it's easy, and targeting the PC muscle is much less of a challenge than with other methods. It is particularly beneficial for those who have never done Kegel exercises before, but makes exercising easier for those more experienced also.
Dislikes - While the instructions are easy to follow, I would have liked to see an insert with diagrams and larger print. As far as the product goes, I have no complaints.
If you are looking for something to aid you with your Kegel exercises, I would recommend the KegelPro.
